Last year, the American Northeast experienced record snowfalls, and climate change seems to be on most of our minds. Winter can brutal, it can be beautiful, it can be a mysterious mix. For Humble Arts Foundation's first open call of 2016, we want to see your photographs representing winter - literally, abstractly, or somewhere in between. Show us your vision of a cold, cold world, and don't be afraid to get crazy. Inspired by Andy Adams' annual "Winter Pictures" calls in previous years, we're partnering with FlakPhoto, and invited Andy to co-curate this exhibition with Humble's co-founder Jon Feinstein. The group show will be featured on Humble's website and we'll feature select images on Instagram @HumbleArtsFoundation and @FlakPhoto in late February, 2016.

Submit:
Up to 5 jpgs, 1000 pixels wide. (i.e. the short side if it's a vertical image, and the long side if it's a landscape)
Submission Guidelines:
Email five (5) JPGs at 1000 pixels wide to submit@hafny.org with "Winter Pictures Submission" in the subject line, and each image titled with your name and the number of the image (i.e. Diane_Arbus_01)
IMPORTANT: Please do NOT submit zipped folders of images.
ALSO IMPORTANT: Please do NOT watermark your images. We promise you, if we use them, we will give you proper attribution, but cannot take submissions seriously that include watermarks.

Jon Feinstein and Andy Adams will select photographers to feature in HAFNY's online group show #48: Winter Pictures, which will go live on Humble's website in February, 2015, and be shared on FlakPhoto and Humble's Instagram feeds. We will announce selected photographers via our Instagram feeds @humbleartsfoundation @FlakPhoto and through our mailing list.
