Statement: Jennifer Brandon works with the slightest of things made with the smallest of gestures. Screens are wondrous forms made from a privacy film that protects us from light and prying eyes. Its thin surface is made visible as a substantive form available for our scrutinizing eyes.
Brandon lives and works in San Francisco, CA. She received her MFA at Mills College in 2007. Brandon has been included in exhibitions in the Bay Area at Stephen Wirtz Gallery, Swarm Gallery, Pro Arts Gallery and The San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art and the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
