Amani Olu: Co-Founder
Dubbed the “King of multi-tasking” by Anthony Haden-Guest in The Art Newspaper, Amani Olu is an entrepreneur, curator, artist and writer. From 2008 to 2012, he curated numerous exhibitions of contemporary photography, and spearheaded the four-part series Young Curators, New Ideas. In 2011 he joined Nadine Johnson & Associates as an art publicist for clients such as the Brant Foundation Art Study Center, Marlborough Chelsea, and the Dallas Art Fair. Eighteen months later, he was named managing editor of Whitewall, having previously contributed to the magazine articles on artists William Eggleston, Zoe Crosher, Elad Lassry, and Rashaad Newsome. He left to establish Olu & Company, a marketing agency for the arts and beyond. In 2016 he ended his curatorial hiatus with an upcoming show at Storefront Ten Eyck. Olu makes art under the name "Scott Avery,” and is currently developing an image management system for creative professionals. He lives near Detroit with his wife, Corliss Elizabeth Williams, their infant daughter, Emi Olu aka "Poopala," and 18lb. ginger cat, Pozzo.
Jon Feinstein: Co-Founder and Curatorial Director
Jon Feinstein is a Seattle and New York City based curator, photographer, the co-founder of Humble Arts Foundation, and Senior Partnerships Manager at Shutterstock. Jon has curated numerous exhibitions, including Future Isms at Glassbox Gallery in Seattle, Radical Color at Newspace Center for Photography, in Portland, Oregon; Another New York for Art-Bridge at The Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, NY; the internet-acclaimed New Cats in Art Photography; and 31 Women in Art Photography at Hasted Kraetleur in NYC. His various projects have been featured in Aperture, The New York Times, The New Republic, BBC, VICE, Huffington Post, Hyperallergic, Feature Shoot, American Photo, Art Info, and FoxNews; and his writing has appeared in TIME, Slate, Daylight, GOOD, and Whitewall Magazines. Roula Seikaly is a writer and independent curator based in San Francisco.
