La Frontera: A New Latinx Lexicon

Using Gloría Anzaldúa's seminal text, Borderlands as inspiration, La Frontera: A New Latinx Lexicon includes a wide spectrum of Latino/a/x identifying artists. In their submission, each artist responded to Erick Guzman's prompt: what does it mean (to you,) to be Latinx?

After receiving an outstanding pool of submissions, to be consistent with Gloria Anzaldúa's ideas about representing a wide breadth of geographies and experiences, we decided to include work from everyone who submitted. We think this extends a message of hope, peace, positivity, and inclusion into the new year.
