Ben Altman trained as an artist by studying Physics, towing icebergs, racing sailboats, and working in commercial photography. His work was awarded the Houston Center for Photography’s 2015 Fellowship, the 2015 Critical Mass Top 50, the 2014 Critical Mass Finalists, and others. He has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, North Carolina, Indiana, Rhode Island, Texas, London, UK, and in Poland. Courtney Asztalos is an artist currently living in Syracuse, NY—where she recently completed her MFA in Art Photography. She grew up in Florida and received her BFA from Florida State University. Her work has been exhibited internationally and nationally. Her artist books are in the collection of UCLA Arts Library, Duke University, Vanderbilt University, and others. She most recently was an Honorable Mention for the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago’s Snider Prize.

Carolyn Benedict Fraser is a large format photographer from Nashville, Tennessee and currently lives in Ithaca, New York. She holds an MFA in Studio Art from Cornell University and a BA in Psychology and Photography from Mills College in Oakland, California. Recently her work has been exhibited in San Francisco, Oakland, New York, and Concord, Massachusetts.

Anna Brody is a photographer and empath studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Her work focuses primarily on longing, loneliness, contentment, cyclical mood shifts, and escapism, all as represented by or found within the social and built landscape. She also likes to take pictures of other people whose feelings she can see out loud. Anna’s series Edging, GA was recently awarded as a winner of the 2017 PDN Photo Annual.

Marisa Chafetz is a New Orleans based artist who works primarily in photography. Her work explores the blurred lines between fictional tableaus and traditional documentary photography. She often deals with topics such as family life, American suburbia, and coming of age.

Jeremy Chandler has exhibited at national and international venues including, Mindy Solomon Gallery in Miami FL, Hagedorn Foundation Gallery in Atlanta GA, Balzer Art Projects in Basel Switzerland and Giampietro Gallery in New Haven CT. He received his BFA from the University of Florida and MFA from the University of South Florida. He is currently an Associate Professor, teaching photography at Southern Connecticut State University. His work is represented by Mindy Solomon Gallery in Miami, FL.

Xiangyun Chen, originally from China, is a free soul live in Brooklyn, NY. She is a late adopter to photography, interested in growing and developing through the process of photography. When she is not photographing nor wine tasting at art openings, you can find her home Twin Peaking

Tony Chirinos received a MFA from Columbia University in New York. Trained as a Bio-medical photographer in 1985, later in 1989 Mr. Chirinos created the Medical photography department at Baptist Health Systems in which he worked as the Director until his departure in 2001. Mr. Chirinos is a Fellow of the South Florida Cultural Consortium. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. His series Cocks has been featured in photoeye.com under Photographer’s Showcase®, Tony Chirinos was among 100 photographers that participated in Review Santa Fe 2012, and in the Fourth Annual New York Portfolio Review sponsored by New York Times Lens blog. His work has been collected by Indie Photobook Library, Candela Collection, CPW, Light Work, Photographic Center Northwest, and Cuban American Phototheque Foundation, to name a few. Mr. Chirinos is currently an Associate Senior Professor at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus in Miami Florida, he has been teaching photography since 2003.

Helen Maurene Cooper is an artist and educator with a BA from Bard College and an MFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Currently, she teaches photography at numerous colleges in Chicagoland. Her visual work is collaborative in nature and grounded female kinship communities. Cooper's decade long project with nail artists on the West Side has been published as a monograph by Onomatopee, Eindhoven Netherlands, 2017. Her work has been reviewed in Bust Magazine, New City, The Chicago Tribune, and Nails Magazine.

Joseph Desler Costa is a photographer living in Brooklyn, NY and Pisa, Italy. He holds degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder (BA) as well as ICP Bard College (MFA) and attended the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV) in Cuba. His pictures and films have been exhibited at venues including the Aperture Foundation, Baxter St. Camera Club, Arsenale di Venezia, Newspace Center for Photography, International Center of Photography, Lianzhou Foto, and Volta NY. Costa has curated and organized a number of exhibitions, books and zines including group shows at Baxter St. Camera Club of NY and Foley Gallery. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Self Publish Be Happy, VICE, Visual Studies Workshop Journal, and Musee Magazine. In 2014, Costa co-founded the artist-run publishing collective Silent Face Projects.

Matthew Cronin is an artist living and working in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his BFA with departmental honors from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. His work has been shown in internationally and has received several awards including the FotoFilmic First Place Beau Photo Prize. In the fall of 2017 he will be relocating to Texas to pursue an MFA at University of Texas: Austin.

Samantha Lynn Croteau (b. Lawrence, Massachusetts 1986) is a large format 4x5 color photographer based in Los Angeles, CA. She grew up in New Hampshire where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Media Arts from Chester College of New England in 2011. In 2014 she received a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from The San Francisco Art Institute, California. Her work was featured online in The Editorial Magazine in November 2015.

Hagit Dror was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1976. She started working with photography at the age of 17 and continued throughout her military career. In the summer of 1996, Dror moved to NY to pursue her commercial and fine art career. In 2004 she had launched her commercial studio and has been hired to work on advertising and promotional campaigns. Between 1997-2005 she had three solo shows in NYC and one group show at the Parrish Art museum, Southampton NY.

Angelica Ekeke A Los Angeles Native, Angelica moved the Bay Area to complete her discipline in Photojournalism and Women and Gender Studies from San Francisco State University. Her vision is to integrate documentary style photography and film to create graceful visual art. Her work has been exhibited and featured internationally as well as locally. She is dedicated to engaging the community through service and the arts. As a result, she has earned Congressional Legislative, and State Senate Awards.

Tealia Ellis Ritter was born in Illinois and currently lives and works in rural Connecticut. Ellis Ritter's work contends with the intersecting roles of the photograph as personal document, marker of time and object with physical surface. Her work has been exhibited internationally, most recently by Aperture, The New Yorker, at PRC: Exposure, on Women in Photography, by the Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Magenta Foundation, at Catherine Edelman Gallery, by Taschen NYC and at Humble Arts “31 Under 31” exhibition. Her work has also appeared in many publications, including The London Daily Telegraph, Stella Magazine, Bloomberg Pursuits Magazine and The Financial Times of London.

Alesia Exum lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Exum was hired by Rolling Stone to illustrate features on youth gangs; Newsweek for stories about nuclear war and racism; New York Times Magazine for a piece on genetics; Texas Monthly for a feature on drug overdoses by privileged kids. Exum co-founded Strange Loop Gallery with Claire Fleury in the Lower East Side. Strange Loop became a creative hub for the queer community as the gallery showed work from well known artists who pushed the boundaries of identity, feminism and queerness.

Lark Foord is a self taught photographer based in Venice, CA. Lark's work has been shown widely through many online outlets for emerging artists like Aint-Bad Magazine, Booooooom, Latent Image, Phases, Fotografia Magazine, It’s Nice That, SEISMES, Formagramma and The Heavy Collective. Lark's most recent publication ‘Same Page’ a collaborative project with TJ Tambellini published by Kiosk launches at Offprint London.

Theresa Ganz was born in New York City in 1980. She earned her BA from Vassar College in Film and her MFA from San Francisco Art Institute in Photography. She works in photo-based collage, installation and video. Her work has shown nationally and internationally at, among others, The Datz Museum of Art in Korea, the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco, The Bell Gallery at Brown University, San Francisco CameraWork and The John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Wisconsin and at various commercial spaces in New York and San Francisco. Her work was included in the 2016 DeCordova Biennial. Her work has also been featured and reviewed in publications including ArtForum, Mousse Magazine, Outpost Journal and Magazine Gitz. She was the 2015 winner of the ArtSlant Prize. She is a founding member and director at Regina Rex in Brooklyn. She currently resides in Providence, RI where she is faculty at Brown University.

Alessandra Gerevini is an Italian photographer and writer living in the Greater Los Angeles Area, California. Her work aims at rejoining herself with her childhood and with nature, by bringing back the spontaneity of the feelings she had back then. She works with different cameras and she mixes different media: photography, writing, drawings. The goal is to create projects that work on more than one level, engaging for the viewer and enhancing for herself.

Jill Greenberg is an internationally renowned artist and photographer who since a young child has staged photographs and created characters using the mediums of drawing, painting, sculpture, film and photography. Greenberg travails to straddle the line between commercial and fine art worlds; painting and photography. Currently she is exploring gender roles, and institutional biases, as a woman in our contentious culture through film and TV.

Scott Grover is an artist living and working in Los Angeles, California. His practice is based primarily in photography, and is often most comfortable in book form.

Jessica Harvey is a Chicago-based artist who explores the myths we create for ourselves and nature while trying to preserve a more desired history. Harvey received an MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2009 and was awarded a Fulbright Grant to Iceland for the 2011-2012 year. She has attended residencies at ACRE, Anderson Ranch, The Luminary, Vermont Studio Center, and Wassaic. Recent solo and two person exhibitions include shows at ACRE Projects, Good Weather, The Luminary, and Heaven Gallery.

Dylan Hausthor was raised in southern Vermont in a place where his neighbors couldn't afford residency in a trailer park. He received a BFA in Photography from the Maine College of Art in 2015. His photographs and books are the pastime of a fool obsessed with his world, eager to reconcile the experiential by rendering it into myth. His work has been exhibited and showcased nationally and internationally by the Druid Film Festival, the Anamorphosis Prize, Photocopy Club and select galleries. He founded Wilt Press in the Spring of 2015 and currently works as a bookmaker, photographer, and chief editor of Wilt Magazine from an island in Maine.

Rachel Jump (b. 1991, Chicago, Illinois) is a fine art photographer living in Chicago, Illinois. Her black and white images explore ideas of home, belonging, memory, and absence, and have been exhibited throughout the United States. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA PH’14). Her photographs are a part of the RISD Museum Special Collections and the Museum of Contemporary Photography. Alibi Fine Art in Chicago, Illinois held her first major solo exhibition in November 2015. Her work has also been featured in various publications, including LENSCRATCH, FotoRoom, Feature Shoot, The Ones We Love, LDOC, and Papersafe. She was a FIELD/WORK artist-in-residence at the Chicago Artists Coalition from 2016—2017. Rachel is currently working as the Communications Coordinator for Mana Contemporary Chicago and as an editor for Aint-Bad. 

Hannah Karsen (b.1989), iHannah Karsen holds her MFA in visual art from UC Riverside and her BFA and BA in Art History from Chapman University. Karsen has exhibited at Elevator Mondays, Los Angeles, LACE, Los Angeles; Center for Contemporary Arts, Santa Fe and the UCLA New Wight Gallery, Los Angeles. Karsen lives and works in Los Angeles

Kyra Kennedy (b.1993) is a photographer based out of Santa Fe, NM. She holds a BFA in Photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Kyra was recently named a winner of the Flash Forward Emerging Artist Competition, and was an exhibition winner for Fotofilmic '15. Her photography revolves around her curiosity with physical beauty, and the facades women create for the public sphere.

Jung S Kim is a photographic artist living and working in New Jersey. Kim's works were shown at LA Center of Photography, The Center for Fine Art Photography, Griffin Museum of Photography, The Center for Photography at Woodstock, NYFA, PhotoNOLA and elsewhere, Arles Photo Festival, Asian Women Photographer Showcase Obscura Festival, and Daegu Photo Biennale, Kwangju Biennale, Seoul Museum of Art, Daelim Museum in Korea. Also, her first photobook was published as ‘Zine Collection No.10, Circle’ by Editions Bessard in Paris.

Zoe Kostopoulos is a Melbourne based artist who mainly works in photography. She also experiments with digital collage and recycling her past images to create new content. Zoe is interested in exploring and merging fashion with fine art to create a new meaning behind what 'beautiful' photos represent.

Natalie Krick (b. 1986) lives and works in Seattle, Washington. She received her BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2008 and her MFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago in 2012. She has recently exhibited at Aperture Gallery in New York, at David Weinberg Gallery in Chicago and at SOIL in Seattle. She received an Individual Photographer's Fellowship from the Aaron Siskind Foundation in 2015 and was awarded the Aperture Portfolio Prize in 2017.

Elsa Leydier was born in 1988 in France. After studying languages, she entered the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles in 2012. After graduating in 2015, she came to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she currently lives and works. In her photographic work, she aims to interrogate images that are used to define iconic places and territories, that she tries to show from other points of view, through the prism of alternative and lesser stories. Her work has been shown in several shows like in Les Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie (Arles, France), in Le Réverbère Gallery (Lyon, France), Chez Agnès b. and Les Filles du Calvaire Gallery (Paris, France), among others.

Devin Lunsford is a fine art and documentary photographer currently based in Birmingham, Alabama. His work focuses primarily on place, identity, memory, and community. His series "Waiting for Something That's Not Coming" is currently on display at the Mobile Museum of Art as a part of the Exhibition "Contemporary Alabama Photography." Devin is currently attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he is pursuing his BA in studio art with a concentration in photography.

Priscilla Mars was born in Fresno California in 1992, graduated from UCLA with a degree in Art and Film in 2014, and now lives and works in Los Angeles in photography and cinematography. She is especially interested in the intersection of Beverly Hills & The Twilight Zone, Hollywood & psychogeography.

Georgia Matsamaki holds a BA in Graphic Design. She is a self taught photographer and recently started cutting and assembling photographs in an absurd and sarcastic way, because she loves Kitsch. She lives and works on Crete, Greece as a graphic designer and a photographer's assistant.

Noelle McCleaf is a photographer exploring themes of memory, relationship, and identity in the southern landscape. Born and raised in Virginia, Noelle received her BFA from the Ringling College of Art and Design and her MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, both with a concentration in Photography. Her work has been shown in national and international exhibitions, and was recently published on Southern Glossary and Don't Smile.

Sarah Meadows is an artist from Portland, OR. A graduate of The Pacific Northwest College of Art and The Rhode Island School of Design, she has shown her work nationally and internationally and is published by Publication Studio Portland. Her work engages with questions of authorship, quality, desire, and nature as a mediated place/experience/image.

Rehan Miskci is a New York based visual artist working in photography and video. She holds an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts, New York. Her series “Void” was selected as the first place winner at Baxter Street Camera Club of New York’s Annual Competition in 2015 and was also exhibited in Lift Off at Fridman Gallery, curated by Elisabeth Biondi. She participated in numerous international exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Munich, Reading and Istanbul.

Jarred Mullenger (born 1995) explores ideas of family and the domestic. Located in Melbourne, Australia. Mullenger has achieved as an artist, print maker and exhibitioner. Mullenger studied a Bachelor of Photography majoring in Fine Art, making several bodies of work and developing a unique style. Mullenger exhibited in the group exhibition KAPOW, Ruffian Gallery, Melbourne, (2015) and also Always Already, Besser Space, Melbourne, (2016). He has also partaken in numerous reviews, workshops and mentorships.

Sean Murray is a photographer based in Philadelphia, PA. Growing up on the east coast, he went on to earn his BFA in Photography at The University of the Arts in 2015. While maintaining a fine art practice, Sean also works in fashion and commercial photography. He is currently working on a couple of personal projects that relate to the meaning of home for himself and others in his life. In doing this Sean looks inward and to places of his past to make photographs.

Julianne Nash is a Brooklyn-based photographer, currently pursuing her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in Photography, Video, and Related Media. She received her BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design with Departmental Honors in 2013.

Marcy Palmer’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, The Berlin Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography (GE), The Brighton Photo Fringe Festival (UK), The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Vermont Center for Photography, The Center for Fine Art Photography, The Photomedia Center, The Watershed Media Centre (UK), Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle, WA, and other venues. Marcy's work won Gold in the Fine Art, Abstract category of the PX3, Prix de la Photographie, Paris 2016 awards. Her work was also a finalist in the Fine Art Category for the 7th Edition of the Julia M Cameron Awards. Marcy currently resides in Dallas, TX.

Cara Phillips was born and raised in suburban Detroit. Her history with the beauty industry began as a child model for Ford Models and continued as she worked as a make-up artist in luxury department stores. In her late-twenties she returned to school and studied photography at Sarah Lawrence College.

Since graduating in 2007 her work has been published and exhibited internationally and she has received numerous awards. Solo exhibitions include Robert Morat Gallery in Hamburg & Station Independent Projects in New York City. Her work is in several public & private collections and her first monograph, Singular Beauty, was released in 2012 by Fw:. It was short-listed for the 2012 Paris Photo Aperture Foundation First Book Award and was selected for several best book lists.

She is the co-founder of the online exhibition site Women in Photography and a member of the international photography group Piece of Cake. When not making art she spends her time as a creative director in media & advertising.

Birthe Piontek Originally from Germany, Birthe moved to Canada in 2005 after receiving her MFA from the University of Essen in Communication Design and Photography. Birthe's project The Idea of North won the Critical Mass Book Award 2009, and was published as a monograph in 2011. She was nominated for the AIMIA AGO Award 2014, and her project Lying Still was shortlisted for the Edward Burtinsky Grant in 2016.

Lissa Rivera is a photographer based in Brooklyn, NY whose work has received multiple grants and honors and been exhibited internationally. Rivera received her MFA from SVA, where she became fascinated with the social history of photography and the evolution of identity, sexuality and gender in relationship to material culture. ‘Beautiful Boy,’ Rivera’s latest project, takes her interest in photography’s connection with identity to a personal level, focusing on her domestic partner as muse.

Ameena Rojee is a London-based photographer and graduate of the University of the West of England. She is intrigued by people, culture and the land, due to her diverse heritage - a blend of Spanish and Mauritian, and she was born in and grew up in South London. She experienced an incredible variety of cultures and worlds as a child, and still now as an adult. It greatly influences and informs her work today.

Georges Salameh, is a Sicily based Greek-Lebanese visual artisan. Born in Beirut, 1973. Studied film in Paris. Currently living in Athens.

Giovanni Savino worked for CBS News for the best part of 20 years. He produced and shot several documentaries about disappearing oral tradition, now in the permanent collection of universities worldwide. He was invited to talk about this work at TED X in Cannes, France. Currently practicing Slow Photography, using large format equipment and techniques from the past he hand process his negatives with coffee.

Valerie Schmidt has studied photography at the the Academy of Arts in Bergen, Norway and the Folkwang School in Essen, where she graduated with honours in 2009. Her work has been shown in many exhibitions in Europe and in the United States. Some of her work is part of the Deutsche Bank Collection, Frankfurt, the Folkwang Museum, Essen, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Budapest and the Birthrites Collection, Manchester. Her work was also presented in Der Greif, Share Mag, Page, Zeit-Magazine and Süddeutsche Magazin. As a freelance photographer, she also works for various magazines like the guardian, der Focus, der Freitag, Galore, Monocle, Neon, Chrismon, Capital and many more. She is based in Berlin and is an adjunct professor for photography at the Hochschule Rhein-Waal in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany since 2015.

Ryan Shorosky Twenty-eight year old originally from southern New Jersey. Graduate of the School of Visual Arts. Spent 2014 working and living as a long-haul truck driver while beginning a long-term body of work aimed at exploring his own relationship to a profession and life lived on the road. Currently working on his first monograph, focusing in and around the areas of central Nevada, as well as an ongoing project and involvement in American rodeo.

Millee Tibbs is currently an associate professor of photograph at Wayne State University. She holds an MFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is the recipient of a MacDowell Colony fellowship, as well as multiple national and international artist residencies awards. Her work has been published and exhibited internationally, most recently at Pingyao International Photography Festival, China, and at the George Eastman Museum, NY.

Amanda Tinker is a photographer working and residing in Philadelphia, Pa. She has been teaching the history of photography and 19th century processes at Drexel University since 2001. Amanda has exhibited in national and international exhibitions. Selected exhibitions include the Photography Gallery at the University of Notre Dame, The Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia, Gallerie Lampinstrasse in Bielefeld, Germany and the Heilongjiang Art Museum in Harbin, China.

Jaclyn Touchstone  is a visual artist working in between Houston and Austin, Texas. She holds a BA in Photography from St. Edward’s University. She uses photography as a way to re-examine self-portraiture in an age where we so often use it in an effort to comfortably define ourselves. To support her photographic practice she works as a graphic designer for a production company, and takes freelance design and photography work on the side.

Joaquin Trujillo (b. 1976, Los Angeles) is an artist, curator, editor and the youngest of eleven siblings, Joaquin Trujillo explores cross-culturalism, identity, and concepts of home in portraits and still-lifes that emulate a structured slippage of heritage across place and time. These consistent spans and gaps are sewn into the fabric of Trujillo’s work, synthesizing past and present in an elegant time warp. Trujillo received his BFA from Art Center College of Design. His work is in permanent collections at San Francisco MoMA and the Amon Carter Museum and has been included in their recent exhibitions: Portraits and Other Likenesses (SF MoMA) and Color! American Photography Transformed (Amon Carter Museum). Traveling back and forth from US to Mexico became Joaquin’s way of life—a way of nomadic stability. With one bag still packed, he now calls Brooklyn home. But still, his commercial practice continues to lead him all over the world.  

Mikayla Whitmore, Las Vegas Native and UNLV graduate, has exhibited at multiple venues including P3Studio at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Contemporary Arts Center, and the Marjorie Barrick Museum. Her work explores the potential of the photographic image in an attempt to explore the way memory functions. Often acting as a archivist of memories seeking to re-order phantasmal visual instances in time. She currently balances her studio practice with work as a staff photographer, researching dinosaur species, and planting succulents.

Virginia Wilcox is an artist based out of Los Angeles, California. She is currently attending University of Hartford’s Limited-Residency MFA in photography. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Virginia received her BFA in photography from Bard College. Virginia most recently showed Bombay Beach in a solo exhibition at Seattle’s Glass Box Gallery in 2016. This body of work also made the cover of Brazilian Magazine OLD this past October, and was also published in Aint-Bad Magazine, Vanguard, FotoVisura, and Roach Motel. Virginia has previously shown work at the Hedreen Gallery (Seattle), Slideluck LA VII (Los Angeles), NEPO House (Seattle), Violet Strays (Online), and Photographic Center Northwest (Seattle).

Sara Zaher is a visual artist based in New York. Born in Cairo in 1990, her restlessness pushed her to a path of transition. Since then she has lived in Lebanon, London, Manchester, New York, and Sydney. This constant shift in space has affected the social, political, and personal themes in her work. Recently she completed her MA (Dist) in Graphic and Media Design from the University of the Arts London. This one year program helped define her interest in mediums such as video art, digital collage, and installation art. Through the use of these tools, her work aims to question the fragile boundary between the personal and the political. A way to exploit her relentless need for questioning as a way to position herself within this ever-changing social pendulum.

Toby Zeng was born in Beijing, China in 1998. At the age of 14, he moved to a boarding school located in California in a small town called Ojai. His passion for photography started to blossom during his sophomore year when he began taking photos with his iPhone. In 2016, Toby started taking photos with a professional camera to shoot projects rather than take random photos. This drastically improved his photography practice. His work has been featured in Noice magazine, Minimal zine, and through various other Instagram submission based accounts. He also runs an Instagram platform based on car photography which is called Minimal Car Magazine.
