Bios

Elizabeth Moran received her BFA in 2007 from the Department of Photography and Imaging, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. Elizabeth currently lives and works (in a cubicle) in NY.

Ernest Protasiewicz, born in Poland, currently lives in London where he studies photography at the Camberwell College of Arts.

Daniel Melo was born in Louisville, Kentucky. 1979. At age 18 he moved to Ohio to attend Kenyon College where he received his BA in English. Last year he moved to Chile and currently lives and works in Buenos Aires. Family and friends are important to him.

Jackie Munro is a graduate of NYU’s photography program. This series documents her visits to hotel rooms after people checked out and before they were cleaned.

Kirill Kuletski, born in Moscow in 1975. Lives and works in London, UK.

Aaron Kreiswirth, raised in Canada, he went to Cornell (Philosophy) and moved to New York in 2000. He received an MA (Media Studies) from New School and an MFA (Photography) from Pratt.

Bronek Kozka lives and works in Melbourne Australia. Exhibiting in several shows, including National Portrait prizes (UK+Australia), in 2008 Kozka was selected as a Hasselblad Master. In 2010 Kozka will exhibit at Grand prix international de photographie de Vevey in 2010.

Hugo Fernandes received his BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2007. His photographs of strangers from sex sites are often melancholic, yet intimate and evocative.

Paivi Paakinaho has exhibited at the Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art in Finland and at The National Museum of Arts in Albania. She is doing a MA Fine Art , in the University of Lapland.

Arturo Soto majored in Film and Photography at SCAD, and recently completed an MFA in Photography at the School of Visual Arts. He lives and works in Mexico City.

Nathanael Turner was born in 1987 in Upstate New York and is currently a senior at Rochester Institute of Technology where he is studying photography and art history. He is a contributor to sundayandwednesday.com and is the blog director for Daylight Magazine.

Michael Serra is on a one-year hiatus from studying photography and literature in Rochester, NY. He is currently working on projects in Centralia, Pennsylvania, Medellin, Colombia, and Havana, Cuba.

Eva Voutsaki, born in Greece,1978. MA Photography at University of Brighton with a scholarship from Greek State. Has attended workshops with Anders Petersen and Antoine D’Agata. Honourably mentioned at the 2008 and 2009 PX3 Photography Prize competition. Traces Within was projected at the 2009 Arles juried festival Voies Off. Since 2001 widely exhibited in Europe and USA.

Megan Hershman was born in Miami, Fl. She attended The Massachusetts College of Art and Design and received her BFA in Photography. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Geir Moseid (b.1978, Oslo) is a Norwegian artist, currently living and working in London. His photographic practice is focusing on human relationships and social issues such as integration, migration and urban alienation.

Meg Madison was born and raised in New York City. A lover of independent film, Madison studied film at San Francisco State University, where her work focused on personal narrative. Madison later moved to Los Angeles where she made black and white photographs that explored the connection between image and memory. Her conceptual essay, 12.26, explores disposability in pictures investigating the fate of trees after the Christmas holiday.
