Steven Ahlgren’s photographs have been included in museum and gallery exhibitions across the United States, and published in magazines including, Doubletake, Fortune and the New York Times Magazine.
Michael Bühler-Rose, received his BFA from the Museum School, Boston, MFA from the University of Florida and is an Assistant Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Mary Button’s The Hymbook Project is an exploration of faith and race in the American South. She is as dedicated to the study of church history as she is to pie-making.
Mickey Smith has received the McKnight Artist Fellowship for Photography as well as grants from Forecast Public Art Affairs, CEC ArtsLink and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. She is represented by Invisible-Exports in New York.
Hank Willis Thomas, winner of the first ever Aperture West Book Prize for his monograph Pitch Blackness (November, 2008), received his BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and his MFA in photography—along with an MA in visual criticism—from the California College of the Arts, San Francisco.
Cody Trepte is a Los Angeles based artists. He received his B.F.A. from New York University and is currently working on his M.F.A. at CalArts.
