Erica Allen (b. 1980) was born in Oakland, received her BA in Studio Art from UC Santa Cruz in 2003 and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2008. Her work has been exhibited nationally and most recently was the subject of a solo exhibition at Melanie Flood Projects. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
Amelia Bauer (b. 1979) was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She received her BFA from Cooper Union in 2001 and continued to work and live in New York. Her work has been exhibited in several group exhibitions.
Claire Beckett (b. 1978) was born in Chicago, received her BA from Kenyon College and her MFA in photography from the Massachusetts College of Art. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is represented by Carroll and Sons Gallery in Boston. She lives in Boston.
Gilda Davidian (b. 1982) was born in Pasadena, CA. She received her BFA in photography from CalArts in 2006. Her work has been in numerous exhibitions in the Los Angeles area, where she is based.
Jessica Eaton (b. 1977) was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and lives between Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. She received her BFA in photography from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Her work has been in numerous exhibitions in North America and in several publications. She has two upcoming solo exhibitions this spring.
Carson Fisk-Vittori (b. 1987) was born in Austin, Texas. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute Chicago in 2009. She has been included in group exhibitions nationally. She currently lives in Chicago.
Naomi Harris (b. 1973) was born in Toronto and currently lives in New York. She studied photography at the International Center for Photography in New York. Her series America Swings has been the subject of numerous international exhibitions as well as a monograph published by Taschen in 2008.
Carmen von Kende (b. 1978) was born in New York. She has an MA in East European and Media Studies as well as an MFA from Berlin University of the Arts. Her work has been included in international group shows. She lives and works in NYC.
Anna Krachey (b. 1979) was born in Nashua, New Hampshire. She received her BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College and her MFA in photography from the University of Texas, Austin in 2008. Her work has been included in several group exhibitions and she is represented by Marty Walker Gallery in Dallas. She currently lives in Austin.
Yvonne Lacet (b. 1980) was born in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. She received her BA from Utrecht School of the Arts in 2004. Her work has been included in several shows in Europe, 31 Women in Art Photography is her first exhibition the United States. She lives between Amsterdam and Utrecht.
Erika Larsen (b. 1976) was born in Washington, D.C. She received her BFA in photography in 1997 and her MFA in Computer Graphics in 1999, both from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her work has been published and exhibited nationally and internationally. She is represented by Redux Pictures and lives in New York.
Jessica Mallios (b. 1976) was born in Austin. She received her BFA in photography from the Pratt Institute in 2000 and her MFA in photography from Bard College in 2004. Her work has been exhibited nationally. She currently lives and works in Austin.
Alison Malone (b. 1980) was born in Minneapolis, MN. She received her BFA in photography from Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 2002 and her MFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work has been exhibited nationally. She lives in New York.
S. Billie Mandle (b. 1978) grew up between California and Connecticut. She received her BA from Williams College in 2000 and her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art in 2008. She has exhibited her work on the east coast. She is currently based in New York and teaches at Mass Art and ICP.
Paula McCartney (b. 1971) received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Princeton Architectural Press will release her first monograph, Bird Watching, this spring. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is held in several collections. She lives in Minneapolis.
Rachelle Mozman (b. 1972) grew up in New York and New Jersey. She received her BFA from Purchase Collage in 1994 and her MFA from Tyler School of Art in 1998. She received a Fulbright Fellowship and has shown her work internationally. She lives between New York and Panama.
Yamini Nayar (b. 1975) grew up in Detroit. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1999 and her MFA from School of Visual Arts in 2005. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is represented by Thomas Erben Gallery. She lives in Brooklyn.
Sarah Palmer (b. 1977) was born in San Francisco. She received her BA from Vassar College in 1999 and her MFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts. Her work has been included in several group exhibitions and she will have her first solo exhibition at the Wild Project in New York this spring. She is a photo editor for Metropolis magazine and lives in Brooklyn.
Kristine Potter (b. 1977) was born in Dallas and grew up in Georgia. She received her BA and BFA from the University of Georgia and her MFA from Yale University in 2005. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. She lives in New York.
Heather Rasmussen (b. 1982) was born in Santa Ana, California. She received her MFA from CalArts. Her work has been the subject of two solo exhibitions and has been published in several magazines. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
Justine Reyes (b. 1979) was born and raised in New York. She received her BFA from Syracuse University in 2000 and her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2004. Her work has been included in several exhibitions internationally and nationally. She lives and works in New York.
Lisa M. Robinson (b. 1968) received her BA from Columbia University in 1990 and her MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in 1999. She has had several solo exhibitions and has been shown internationally. She is represented by several galleries around the country and lives in New York.
Sasha Rudensky (b. 1979) was born in Moscow, Russia. She received her BA from Wesleyan University in 2001 and her MFA from Yale University in 2008. Her work has been included in several group exhibitions, including the upcoming reGeneration 2 at the Musee de l’Elysee in Lausanne, Switzerland. She currently lives and works in New York City.
Irina Rozovsky (b. 1981) was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to the United States when she was eight. She received her BA from Tufts University in 2003 and her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art in 2007. Her work has been included in several group exhibitions worldwide. She lives in Boston.
Victoria Sambunaris (b. 1964) was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and currently lives in New York. She received her BA from Mount Vernon College in 1986 and her MFA from Yale University in 1999. She has had several solo exhibitions nationally and is represented by Yancey Richardson Gallery in New York. Her work is held in several major museum collections.
Robin Schwartz (b. 1957) received her BA from William Paterson College of New Jersey in 1979 and her MFA from the Pratt Institute in 1981. Her work is held by major collections around the world. She is represented by M + B in Los Angeles and her most recent monograph, Amelia’s World was published by Aperture in 2008.
Rachel Sussman (b. 1975) was born in Baltimore and currently lives in Brooklyn. She received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 1998 and is currently pursuing a PhD in practice-based fine arts at Central St. Martins in London. Her work has been the subject of numerous solo and group exhibitions.
Brea Souders (b. 1978) was born in Frederick, Maryland. She received her BA from University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2001. She has had one solo exhibition and been included in several group exhibitions on the East Coast. She lives in New York.
Emily Shur (b. 1976) graduated from New York University in 1998. Her work has been included in numerous publications such as Vanity Fair and the New York Times magazine. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
Kirsten Kay Thoen (b. 1977) was born and raised in Holladay, Utah. She received her BA from Eugene Lang and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2009. In 2005 she opened K Studio, a photography studio based in Brooklyn. Her work has been exhibited internationally.
Ann Woo (b. 1975) was born in Hong Kong. She received her BA from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1997 and studied at the International Center of Photography in 2007. Her work has been in several group shows worldwide, and is represented by Mr. and Mrs. amani olu. She lives between Hong Kong and New York.
