Twin Peaks 20th Anniversary

With the Twin Peaks 20th anniversary coming up soon (April 8th), I am going to dedicate this time period as “Two and a half weeks of Twin Peaks.”

I picked up this book a couple of years ago not really knowing who Hedi Slimane was, but more because the photographs seemed so well put together but still had a certain rawness about them. After learning more about Slimane and his fashion career, it put this work into a slightly different context for me; but it still made perfect sense. For me this work is a lot like the photographic equivalent of the impact he had on fashion design, it is something that is fairly understated but incredibly effective.
